MXMag RJ45 Connector

　　Molex introduces the MXMag Gigabit single-port RJ45 connector. Featuring a variety of options for automated reflow solder assembly, this integrated magnetic socket provides OEMs with a high-speed assembly solution without compromising robust, reliable through-hole printed circuit board connectivity.

　　Traditionally, RJ45 connectors with integrated magnets have been manually positioned and wave soldered to ensure robust and reliable through-hole printed circuit board connections. "The transition to pick-and-place magnetic sockets must not compromise the quality of through-hole solder joints and needs to be adequately cost-effective," said Patrick Tunn, global product manager at Molex. "The MXMag Gigabit single-port RJ45 connector is designed for an automated reflow solder assembly process. designed to provide an alternative custom magnetic RJ45 jack solution for OEMs looking to reduce component placement costs without the need for costly PCB redesigns."
